Mentorship Program · Pilot Cohort

You already have the skills. This makes sure you can use them.

Two tracks. One promise: a mentor who knows your name, every two weeks, until you're ready.

The SYNC Mentorship Program pairs small groups of Syrian talent with diaspora professionals who have already walked the path you are on. Not a lecture series. Not a certificate. A real mentor, a real group, and a clear destination that makes you day-one ready for the workplace.

MENTOR
How It Works

Small groups. Real conversations. Full continuity.

No massive workshops where you get lost in the crowd. No one-off chats. We do Mentorship Pods.

Your Pod

You join a small group of 5 to 8 mentees and one dedicated mentor. Same faces, every session.

The Timeline

One 8-week cycle, built from four bi-weekly sessions. Enough runway to actually change how you show up.

The Format

Real two-way discussions. Your mentor frames a workplace-readiness theme, shares stories from their own career, then opens the floor for group problem-solving.

The Proof

You rate your confidence on day one, at the midpoint, and on your last day, with your mentor providing a final sign-off that you are workplace-ready.

Choose Your Track

Two starting lines. Same destination.

Pick the one that sounds like you. The pod, the cadence, and the sign-off are shared, the framing is not.

For Fresh Graduates

SYNC Kickstart

Your degree got you the interview. This gets you through the first 90 days.

Who this is for

Recent graduates stepping into the professional world.

The focus

You have the academic background, but walking into a first job is intimidating. You might not know what is expected of you, and you are afraid of looking inexperienced or freezing up. We show you what no one tells you before your first day, demystifying the workplace and normalizing the not-knowing phase.

What You Will Master

The Day-One Playbook

Across four sessions, regardless of your track, you build the parts of being job-ready that no online course teaches.

Know your role

Understand what you are actually accountable for on day one.

02

Manage your time

Prioritize tasks, hit real-world deadlines, and communicate clearly when you cannot.

03

Work the room

Collaborate with a team and handle disagreement without it becoming conflict.

04

Keep growing

Plus:role-specific and technical context from your mentor's own journey, shared as it naturally comes up.

The Schedule

For Mentors

Tell them what you wish someone had told you.

You do not need to be a corporate trainer. You just need to be honest. We are looking for diaspora professionals to guide the next wave of Syrian talent.

Apply to Mentor a Pod

Low Friction

Four sessions, 60 to 90 minutes each, every two weeks over an 8-week cycle.

Your Own Pod

You lead a dedicated group of 5 to 8 mentees for the full cycle. Not a rotating audience.

Real Talk, No Lectures

Open each session by framing the week's theme with your own experience, then let the conversation run.

Zero Curriculum Writing

You are not expected to teach technical skills, write lessons, or have all the answers. Just share your journey.

Simple Sign-off

At the end of the 8 weeks, spend five minutes giving us your honest read on whether each mentee is workplace-ready.

Step into the workplace with confidence.

Applications for our pilot cohort are open. Space is strictly limited to keep pod sizes small.
